Japanese Prime minister Shinzo Abe’s Special Envoy, Okamura Yoshifumi, was barred from meeting journalists at the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs earlier today. He was set to meet journalists and brief them about the situation in South Sudan after meeting Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn and Defense Minister Siraj Fegessa in the morning. No explanation was given for the move by Ethiopian officials.
